The Windows app checks whether an activation code is valid, available for use, within its device limit, and not expired. Valid new registrations must still be approved online by May Learning Hub before the full version becomes active. If you believe a licence decision is incorrect, please contact us for assistance.
May Learning Hub uses Google Analytics and Firebase/Google Cloud to provide website analytics and the Windows licensing service. Google may process information needed to operate and secure these services, including technical and network information. Information may be processed in South Africa or other countries where Google and its service providers operate. You can learn more from Privacy and Security in Firebase and Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the services, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users, rights, and security.
Personal information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, manage licences, answer support requests, prevent misuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Temporary security records used to limit repeated activation attempts are automatically deleted after a short period. Information that is no longer required is deleted or de-identified where reasonably possible.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including secure internet connections, restricted access, protected licence records, and controls against repeated activation attempts. No electronic service can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should also protect their devices, accounts, passwords, and activation codes.
Subject to POPIA, you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
